Ashford DofE Unit are offering Kent Scouts places for full teams of at least four participants at Silver level, for Practice or Assessed Expeditions in the West Sussex South Downs.
You will require OS Explorer Map OL11, Brighton & Hove.
Base Camp site is Hillside Scout Campsite, Henfield Road, Small Dole, Henfield, West Sussex BN5 9XJ. Grid Ref TQ 213123
Participants can arrive from 5.00pm, and should all be on site by 8.00pm
On Friday 30 August, teams camp on passport at Streamside Scout Campsite, Coombes Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 0RP. Grid Ref TQ 199070
On Saturday 31 August teams camp back at Hillside.
Silver teams finish at Hillside on Sunday 1 September 2024
Costs are £35 per participant. Participants must make their own way to site and be self sufficient with all equipment and food.
Teams must be accompanied by a leader or leaders who have completed DofE Supervisor training. We can also support leaders looking to gain more experience.
Leaders should be self sufficient with transport and food, but Kent Scouts will subsidise evening meals for all leaders.
